Everything you need,
nothing you don’t

Welcome to New Road Hote1

New Road is a stylish 80 bedroom boutique hotel in East London. It’s set to be the no.1 place for sleeping, eating, drinking and meeting.

Housed in a former textile factory in Whitechapel, this unique hotel has been inspired by the New York metropolis.

New Road Hotel features a signature restaurant by acclaimed chef Marco Pierre White, a fitness studio and several social zones where guests can enjoy live music, play pool in the games zone or relax in the library.

ROOMS

All of our bedrooms are cleverly designed whilst keeping original factory features to maximise the space and to give you everything you need for your stay and nothing you don’t!

We don’t do overpriced mini bars and little kettles in our rooms, instead grab free unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate from our vending machines, located on each floor.

All of our bedrooms have original exposed brickwork and original large windows to allow natural daylight to flood through your room – a rarity sometimes in London.

Each room has a 49” Flatscreen TV, Hypnos Bed, Rainfall Shower and air conditioning.

While our prices are modest, the bespoke experience we offer is entirely unlike any other hotel in the area. It’s unique, interesting and in keeping with our ethos of creativity & independence through our signature industrial detailing.

For a truly bespoke experience stay in our Loft complete with your own private rooftop Hot Tub – relax away the day and enjoy the views of London’s urban metropolis.

For something completely different stay in our roof top Eco Shed – experience complete sustainability without compromising on comfort.

MARCO PIERRE WHITE

Marco Pierre White was the first and youngest British chef to achieve three-Michelin stars. His good looks and devilish behaviour led to the media dubbing him ‘the original rock-star chef.’ However it was his work behind the stove that really grabbed the headlines. As well as winning accolades, he was also responsible for kick-starting the careers of Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal who trained under him.

Marco has teamed-up with New Road Hotel to launch his first ever Chophouse in London. Mr. White’s English Chophouse gives a nod to tradition and centres on everything that chophouses are famed for: meat and hearty portions.

The Chophouse menu cleverly combines English classics whilst also introducing a little French flair that epitomizes Marco’s cooking style. The menu centres around steaks, grills and chops.

History

New Road Hotel is a true passion project for its owners. Three brothers decided to build New Road Hotel on the site of an old textile factory, formerly known as Service House, where their father once worked.

The building was designed by architect Hume Victor Kerr – whose modern style is much in evidence in this area, the building has always been used as a garments factory up until the turn of the millennium.

Since its closure in 2000, the building has remained empty, until 2011 when the family decided to convert it into a hotel.
Following a multi-million-pound investment, New Road Hotel has now opened its doors to the public. The hotel’s interior design and open plan architecture reflects both its heritage and location within London’s famous East End, where the garment trade boomed in the 1960s.

With exposed brickwork, open lobby spaces flooded with light, and incredible views of London’s skyline, New Road Hotel is a London hotel with a difference. The focus is on sleek and efficient design, five-star service, and high functionality over frills and opulence.
