One of London's best markets is to be found in our E1 neighbourhood. The existing hall was built in the 1870's, making it one of the few surviving Victorian Market Halls in the city. Still, there has been a market on the site for over 350 years.
The modern market is now one quirky shopping hub with busiest shopping, eating and drinking places, occasional workshops, arts and crafts, open seven days a week. Weekly antique and vintage markets are hold on Thursdays, a vinyl market sometimes hold on Fridays for the vintage records collectible enthusiasts, whereas arts and crafts are sold throughout the week. Fresh produces, deli dishes, artisans bakeries and fair trade products, fresh food market stalls and affordable chain restaurants provide a gastronomic paradise for the foodies.
